Launched in 2018, the Big Day of Service was launched in Orangevale & Fair Oaks with the goal of uniting the community together in service. Over 1,000 volunteers turned up in these first two years of the Big Day of Service. We had projects for every age and ability from spreading bark at community parks to creating care packages for overseas military. Volunteers throughout our Orangevale & Fair Oaks churches, schools. service clubs, and neighbors all coming together to beautify our shared neighborhood spaces. Join us this year!

The Big Day of Service is a program of the Orangevale-Fair Oaks Community Foundation. The Foundation's purpose is to create opportunities for our community to be more generous with their time (volunteering), talents (leadership), and treasures (donations). We believe Orangevale & Fair Oaks are at their best when we're meeting each other's practical needs and giving & serving together.
